As long as the mainstream media continues to ally with the progressive agenda of the far left in America reporters will vilify anyone who does not garner favor with the liberal elites.  We know this double standard exists and has for a long time.  While I am not a big fan of Chris Christie, I am sure he was surprised how the media swooped down on him like vultures to expose this scandal and attempt to take him down.  Perhaps he thought he was safe with all of his talk of bipartisanship and reaching across the aisle to get things done for New Jersey.  And now we see the Department of Justice getting involved and investigating to see if he had anything to do with the George Washington Bridge lane closures.  It is really a disgrace how the media gives a pass to the Obama Administration in the scandals of Benghazi, the IRS, and his many unconstitutional executive orders bypassing Congress, to name just a few.
