Just because someone has been incarcerated does not mean they have changed.  Given the beliefs of those engaging in a war against of our culture, it is not surprising to me that he went back to where he believed he is serving his religious beliefs and gaining eternal blessings.  We have not yet learned to deal with people who have been taught with this extreme belief system.
