I have come to realize there are two kinds of people in this country. There are those who love to shop on Black Friday; who live for the excitement of going out at all hours of the late night or early morning to get a great deal on Christmas and holiday gifts. Then there are others who hate the crowds, chaos, hustle and bustle, and excitement of these annual events. I belong to the latter group, and am fortunate I married a man who absolutely loves to shop on Black Friday. He will go with my daughter (both belong to the former group) and brave the crowds while I can remain in the warmth of our home cooking and babysitting the grandkids. As for my husband and daughter, the sale flyers are thoroughly researched, a game plan is set, and they will be off shopping between and after all of the Thanksgiving dinners have been attended to get the chance to score the best deal on this year’s treasures.
