Bridging the Gap with Rick Santorum

On May 5th, Spartanburg held host to Rick Santorum, a Republican presidential hopeful out of Pennsylvania. He opened with a statement on the need for unity in Capitol Hill. He addressed topics posed by a table of panelists that included the economy, education, and foreign policy among others. Santorum emphasized he had no "silver bullet" for education, but the family man that he is, pushed for united families and strong local economies in manufacturing. He also warns of growing destabilization in the middle east if serious military action isn't taken soon.
