I thought Senator McCain's response to the Russian sanctions was amusing. Clearly, Putin does not take the U.S. response seriously. Why should he?
Economic sanctions are needed to hit Putin and his top people. The Russian economy is dicey now anyway and with taking on an invasion of another country's poor economy, Putin will soon feel the pinch.
