Laura Rambeau Lee(1)Listening to the CPAC speeches of these four potential presidential nominees, I must say I was disappointed.  It really is too early to even consider choosing a contender from this group.  All of their speeches were good, but not great.  Senator Ted Cruz’s speech was personally disappointing and unremarkable, and I like him.  Sen. Rand Paul’s speech was all about individual rights and government adhering to the Constitution in protecting those rights.  Dr. Ben Carson spoke about traditional values and personal responsibility in seizing the opportunities America promises to everyone.  The best take away was from NJ Governor Chris Christie, who said “We can’t govern if we don’t win.”  All I can say is we have to win big in 2014, so we better get better.
