The “smart” pistol seems like an interesting new firearm and I am happy to see new technologies being introduced in the marketplace.  For some, it might be a good choice if they believe they need the additional safety features.  I would be concerned with the technology being able to work without delay or fail when the need to use the firearm is urgent and might mean the difference between being a victim and a survivor.  We must remember it is not the firearm that is dangerous.  The danger lies in the person who uses it.
