President Obama lives in a different America than the rest of us. I believe the President realized his recent SOTU comments about income inequality and acting unilaterally with his pen and his phone if Congress will not do his bidding are waking people up to the fact that his administration is leaning towards a Marxist totalitarian presidency. So what does President Obama do? He changes the talking points, attempting to sound more like the spirit of the founding of our country, which is based on self-reliance and taking advantage of the many opportunities available to everyone in America. President Obama cannot walk back his comments, which date back to 2008 and his “fundamental transformation of America.” He is right that people do not see as many opportunities to get ahead. But it is not because of the self-reliance of the American people, it is because government has put so many obstacles in their way.
