It is truly disheartening how the left continues to exploit race in America.  A successful, conservative African-American goes against the narrative and therefore must be mocked and ridiculed.  Senator Scott proves what conservatives all know: we all start out with the same opportunities in America today no matter what race, religion or sex.  It is up to the individual to take advantage of the opportunities this country offers and through hard work, perseverance, and the freedom to pursue one's dreams anyone can be successful, whatever that might mean to them personally.  It is also very disturbing how conservatives who hold the traditional values of pro-life, pro Second Amendment, and pro Constitution are being called “extreme” right wing.  I believe a very dangerous dialogue has begun in America, one which is overtly anti-American and which leans far left of the Democrat party.
