I remember seeing the decision to allow women in combat roles.  I remember thinking that is fine so long as we do not lower the bar.  COMBAT ... that is serious stuff and we only want those capable to be in those kinds of positions.  I have no problem with a woman in the spot if she can do the work.

I see it did not take long for the government to "lower the bar".    That is government for you, lower the bar and keep doing it till you make the quotas.
