You can’t argue there are basic physiological differences between men and women no matter how “equal” the left wishes they were. Being married to a retired Army officer and deferring to his knowledge and experience, we as a civilized nation should never be forced to deal with female troops on the combat line being captured or killed. When Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta declared women should be allowed in combat roles, I wrote an article asking “Are We Prepared For The Reality of Women In Combat?” That article can be read here.
Even if a woman does pass the physical requirements, I am against women serving in combat roles. The repercussions would only serve to demoralize the collective conscience of our country.
