The GOP is still as divided as we were in the 2012 election. We have the very conservative leaders vying against the Libertarian Republicans. Our party must find a way to work together, because as long as we have these two factions within our party, we are allowing the Democrats to solidify their hold on the White House. As a strong conservative, it is hard to understand why the majority of the population is apparently not concerned with the social issues that our party once represented so tenaciously. The most important issue for everyone in America right now is our economy and how we are going to afford Obamacare. Thus, a lot of the strong conservatives are putting social issues on the back burner and turning to the middle of the road leaders, like Chris Christie, Rand Paul, and others. Our party is seriously split and it is a grave concern.
