I remember the Thanksgiving Days of when I was small. It was definitely a family time. The Grandparents and the Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins got together for Thanksgiving dinner. May Grandpa always prayed until he went to be with the Lord, then my Uncle, and my Dad, and now my husband Don. My Grandma always asks what we were Thankful for. We all took our turn but didn’t realize how important it was to be Thankful. We interacted, played games and just talked. Thanksgiving has always held a special place in my heart. I never realized how important it was until some of my family were gone or especially when we moved to Oregon 20 years ago away our families in Missouri. But I was blessed and always thankful for the values and the sense of family I learned when I was small.
God bless you all with beautiful memories!
