I know he's a good, bright and principled man, and I wish him well.  But I also wish he were on the right side of Common Core when it comes to education.  Maybe with more education on the topic himself, he will come to the right conclusion on the matter.  But it does seem fairly elementary to me that the party that is against more federal intrusion/control would reject the idea outright from the start.  Basic stuff.
