Why is it that Congress and the President cannot do the job we hired them to do, yet they threaten We the People with economic catastrophe and shutdowns?  They should not be allowed to appear on television or in the press and make statements until they resolve this mess and stop playing the blame game.  As Glenn Helseth points out, we have lives you know.  Our bills have not stopped coming, we cannot print money or borrow against the taxes paid by future generations.  Shut up, sit down and work it out, and pass a budget so we don't have to deal with this every quarter!
