This political gamesmanship does nothing but hurt the American people and American businesses.  The press is biased towards the president and the Democrats and blames all of this on the Tea Party.  Little of reality has been reported, such as the fact that the government will not completely shut down as the fearmongers are saying.  Checks will go out, pensions will be paid, the military will continue to be funded.  So the Smithsonian will have to close some exhibits… not too concerning to most of us.  The facts are that President Obama has granted many illegal waivers and deferments since the law was passed, and the law is being manipulated to satisfy the requests of those who support and contribute to the president and the Democrat Party.  All the House asked is that the law be applied to all who must comply fairly and evenly.  If corporations and government employees have been granted special considerations, shouldn’t individuals also be granted the same?  Where is the fairness we hear President Obama speak of so often?

Part of me wants to let the people (low information voters who do not yet realize that health care is not free)  feel the full brunt of the train wreck that is Obamacare.  Perhaps they will wake up and join those who understood the implications of this law before it was passed and fight to repeal it entirely.  However, once it is permitted to roll out as the law states, it will be nearly impossible to stop it.  We are in a very difficult situation.

The President, the Democrats, even many Republicans, will demonize the Tea Party for this debacle, no matter how it plays out.  As of this writing, the House sent the CR to the Senate requesting a one year deferment for everyone with the health care law and it has been rejected.

Our entire Executive Administration and Congress are incompetent and acting like immature school children.  Politics is about negotiation and compromise, something they have obviously forgotten.  President Obama is in charge, but he will not be blamed for this debacle in the press.  All of the blame will be directed at the Tea Party.  I still hold out hope that the Tea Party will save America in spite of itself.
