I absolutely agree with Sen. Cruz.  Sometimes you have to stand up for what is right, even though it is not popular.  Too many of our politicians, Republicans included, start their re-election campaign the day after they take office.  Why not actually do what is in your constituents best interests instead of your own?  If you do what is right to begin with, you will get re-elected.
