Although he knew his filibuster was more a stand on principle and would not change the way the vote would go, it is heartening to see someone actually do what he promised to do and was elected to do, which is fight the “Affordable” Health Care Act.  Senator Cruz has shown he is a man of his word and has elevated himself in my eyes by what he did.  It all comes down to honor and trust, doesn’t it?  This is such a rare trait in our representatives today.
