This effort to focus on women around the world fighting climate change will be in promoting access to birth control, abortions, sterilizations and reducing the global population.  Of course, it will be sold as promoting women’s reproductive rights.  This is a complete waste of our taxpayer dollars.  While the climate may be changing, our leaders are incredibly arrogant to believe that humankind has any effect on this whatsoever.  The most recent studies actually reveal there has been no increase in temperatures over the last fifteen years or so, and we are quite probably heading into a protracted global cooling.  Our efforts would be better served to stock up and store food items, since global cooling will lead to massive food shortages.  If people and governments do not make sufficient preparations for this possibility, we could be in for a global catastrophe.  Our leaders should be paying attention to the science and the facts, and less on the ideology of anthropogenic climate change.  We cannot control the temperature of the earth, but we can prepare for the future – and we should.
