This was a great decision and allows all employees the freedom of not being forced to join a union as a requirement for employment, whether they are public or private employees.  The public sector union pension packages and benefits are breaking the budgets of many cities and it is time they understand that the benefits they had demanded in the past must become more realistic to be sustainable over the coming years.
