Mr. Obama had to claim that al-Qaeda was almost eliminated so he could justify cutting back on military and defense spending. It is interesting that he is now reporting that we cannot completely shut down al-Qaeda, and that there will be always be smaller affiliate groups setting up in the Middle East, which is very true!
The chatter from our intelligence agencies was too much to try to hide . I do think the President did a wise move to shut down the embassies to protect the Americans who live and work there. Unfortunately we will continue to see much more action from the new branches of al-Qaeda due to the lack of a strong foreign policy by the current administration. They know our President is sadly big on words but small on actions to back up the words. I truly hope Mr. Obama will change his policies before innocent Americans are killed. I pray we never see another 9/11 attack in America again!
