I'm from AR, and I can tell you that this will be a race for the books. It is literally going to be a battle between the Arkansas establishment and the voices of conservatism. Senator Pryor's family has been a part of Arkansas politics for a very long time. His father is a former congressman, governor, and senator of the state and is very plugged in with Clinton's and with heavy-hitting donors. It will be the challenge of Rep. Cotton's camp to highlight which of Senator Pryor's votes have not been good for Arkansas and to present the summary that in general, it's time for a change from the Pryor era. In Arkansas, it is a tall order to defeat a legacy name like Pryor. That is why this election will have to be based on issues, and I believe that is what Rep. Cotton's camp wants to do. Cotton is a very politically sharp candidate, and he has a good handle on the issues. He's brave and not intimidated by the Pryor machine, and it appears he will have a lot of help from 3rd party groups who have made it their mission to help us finally regain a conservative majority in the Senate. Arkansans will really have to soul search  and ask themselves if they want to vote for a name or vote for principles, and if they choose the latter, the answer is a vote for Rep. Cotton. Cotton's best option is to convince people that he has a plan for bringing jobs back to Arkansas when we've lost so many over the past 3 years due to closings of very large entities and mass layoffs. He will need to speak directly to the people and cut through the legacy tape. If he does, he wins.
