The responsibility for all of this race baiting lies at the feet of President Obama.  It began when he commented that if he had a son, he would look like Trayvon.  After the verdict, he should have held a conference and told everyone that justice was served - as he did - but he should have also said everyone needs to respect the system.  By permitting Holder to speak about the case he is doing grievous harm to the country as a whole.  In fact the case had nothing to do with the stand your ground laws in Florida.  This was a case of self-defense.

As far as Florida’s stand your ground law, an article in the Daily Caller here reveals “African Americans benefit from Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” self-defense law at a rate far out of proportion to their presence in the state’s population, despite an assertion by Attorney General Eric Holder that repealing “Stand Your Ground” would help African Americans.”  Personally, I refuse to give any person or government the right to tell me I have to retreat if I believe my life is in danger and that I do not have the right to defend myself.

A year-long investigation by the FBI into whether Mr. Zimmerman violated Mr. Martin’s civil rights revealed nothing to substantiate the claim. The Sanford police believed from the beginning that this was a clear case of self-defense and did not see a reason to charge him.  The state of Florida succumbed to political pressure and conducted a thorough trial in which Zimmerman was found not guilty.  The usual race baiters are calling for protests against America’s racism even though  Mr. Zimmerman is not a white man.  He is no more white than President Obama.

What Eric Holder is doing is reprehensible.  Justice was served.  The rule of law was more than followed.  How is this not a violation of Mr. Zimmerman's civil rights?  The federal government has put a target on his back.  He needs to be allowed to go on with his life.  This whole thing is disgusting!  Mr. Holder should be forced to resign his office.  He does not respect the laws he has sworn to uphold.
