Kudos to the Congresswomen for this absolutely marvelous idea! With the recent good news that our budget deficit finally below 1 trillion, we have a little extra to spend.
I guess I just have a few practical questions I would ask of them: 1) who is going to enforce the boundaries of this National Park situated on the moon? For example, countries like China don't respect the country of Taiwan? We won't even talk about enforcing our own borders with Mexico ( or the lack thereof). Do these two really think the boundaries of this US National Park, located on the moon, which is over 238,000 miles away is going to be respected? 2) Our country's debt is over $17 trillion and that is, as we know, a gross underestimate. Military readiness is being jeopardized by cuts and sequestration. Perhaps now is not the time to go on a mini spending spree. 3) the last question I would ask these two is how on earth ( pardon the pun) did they ever get elected?
Unfortunately, my state of Maryland boasts one of these two as our own. High taxes, sanctuary state, maybe it's time to move!
