Thank you North Carolina for your wisdom in cutting the long term unemployment.  It is difficult for people who are out of a job but providing what seems like an endless handout does not create incentive for workers to look for another job.  The longer one goes without a job it becomes even more difficult to find a new one.  Your skills get rusty and you become out of touch with the job market.  We need to be encouraging workers to try to find another job, not just giving them handouts .  The North Carolina Governor  and legislature should be a role model for other states for cutting income taxes. People will work harder when they see they get to keep more of the money "they have earned".
