Today, our friend, Lynn Good (former EVP/CFO) of Duke Energy was named as their CEO. Ms. Good is a shining example of Palladian View's motto: Building leaders of tomorrow by empowering women today. We wish her the best as she leads her Charlotte, North Carolina-based company. Duke Energy controls utilities that serve more than seven million customers in North and South Carolina, Florida, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.
Ms. Good has served as Duke Energy's executive vice president and chief financial officer since July 2009. She joined Cinergy, a Duke Energy predecessor company, in 2003 after 20 years working in senior management roles and as a partner for Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen LLP. Before becoming Duke Energy's CFO, Ms. Good served as group executive and president of Duke Energy's Commercial Businesses organization.
