They should educate themselves instead of listening to the environmentalists. They need to think about the lives of the people they represent and how much their lives would be improved by allowing fracking in the state. Perhaps someone could introduce them to Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer, who made the documentaryFrackNation, which tells the truth about fracking. The movie Gasland was not factual, although it continues to be shown on college campuses and is represented as true. It asserts that fracking introduces methane into people’s water which can be set on fire coming out of the faucet. Investigation by the EPA has shown this is not the case. Education is key, not knee jerk reactions to eco-terrorists. The representatives owe it to their constituents to make decisions based on rational and factual information and what is best for the state and the people who live in the state.
