The scriptures tell us in the book of John that "greater love has no man than this, than that he would lay down his life for his friends." That is how I view Memorial Day. There are countless men and women who gave their lives so that I can enjoy freedom. That freedom came with a cost too. I will forever be indebted to those heroes who have sacrificed for me.
