Senator Paul is absolutely right. It is absurd for the Senate to call an obviously law-abiding $6 Billion taxpaying corporation as large as Apple to answer for utilizing the tax codes in an effort to realize the least amount of income tax due the IRS while achieving the greatest profit for its investors.  Congress wrote the tax codes and if they do not like them they can change them.  The whole idea of vilifying the wealthy and “greedy” corporations for not paying their “fair share” is not only ridiculous, it is very dangerous.  Corporations are in business to make money, and if Congress does not understand that very simple fact, perhaps they should stop being dependent on taxpayers for their income, expense accounts, cushy pensions, and health care plans, and start their own business.  Maybe then they would understand what it takes to run a company and appreciate what businesses contribute to this country by employing people, producing a product or providing a service, and paying taxes.  They should have a giant mirror in the Senate with one word written across it.  That word is BUDGET!  How about they do the job we pay them to do and pass a budget?  Also, with the recent IRS scandal, we have to begin discussions for a flat tax or fair tax to simplify the tax codes and eliminate tax loopholes.
