Look for the scholarships; they're out there.  But on a related note, the only reasons the base price is so high is because the cost is "propped up" by all the entitlement-rather-than-earned government subsidies for education.  When the consumer HAS to pay the cost, the demand and supply curves intersect at a reasonable point.  When demand is subsidized, the point of intersection is ridiculous.  It's academic socialism, and is indicative of our society at large.  Do I think gifted and hard-working,  high-achieving students ought to have private foundations and corporations invest in their futures with well-earned scholarships?  Yes.  Private.  Earned.  Deserved.  Not "you owe this to me."
