While Lance Armstrong did confirm he cheated during his Tour de France cycling competitions, the Justice Department has to prove not only that the USPS was defrauded under the False Claims Act but that they suffered actual losses.  According to Fox News “previous studies done for the Postal Service concluded the agency reaped at least $139 million in worldwide brand exposure in four years” from 2001 until 2004.  Armstrong will be paying dearly for his deceit. I believe the Justice Department will spend a lot of our taxpayer money in pursuit of a judgment they will never be able to collect.
