I'll be interested in watching how this administration treats the passing of other elderly, ill statesmen/women. For instance, do any of us think that an official delegation from this administration will not be attending the funeral of Nelson Mandela - probably the president himself. The former GHWB administration officials are the ones leading those attending the funeral today. Why was Biden sent to represent the U.S.? I thought that was part of the description of the VP job - to attend official funerals when the president wasn't attending.
This president continues to lead with a lack of dignity and respect of our position in the world. The Democrats in the Senate follow his lead. Trying to score political points in the wake of Margaret Thatcher's death is just another day at the office for them.
