I agree with a compacted primary season, fewer debates, and earlier national convention.  But we need to get strong people to lead the Republican Party, not the ones who have been “groomed” for it by the elites.  The party leaders are weak, in my opinion.  They should have an easy time countering the blithering incompetence of the current administration.  Those who speak out, like Rand Paul, get called on it by “establishment” party members who have stayed way past their time.  I went to the Republican National Convention and participate in local Republican politics, and the party is diverse and open.  We have to control the narrative, instead of being on defense all of the time.  Stand up for what we believe and make the argument for the freedom of the individual.
