It seems that the old industrial regions of the US which are in the Midwest and Northeast  are losing jobs without any chance of new ones.  We are no longer a major manufacturing country.  This is a shame because manufacturing jobs helped to provide so many families with an income that could help them reach their American Dream.   Both my parents worked in factories in the Northeast.  They were able to buy a modest home and save to send their daughter to college, the first one in the family!

The migration to the South and the West shows people are looking for warmer climates and new opportunities in right to work states!
