Voter ID and registration reform is needed.    I can recall many years ago, when I lived in Missouri, the State Auditor conducted an audit of the City of St. Louis.  One of the things that audit found was votes cast by deceased persons.  The voter registration even had the cemetery address as the voters address.

In Oregon we have mail in ballots and there is a great risk of voter fraud.  Who really knows that the person signing the ballot is the person that is the registered voter?  I applaud Ohio for holding hearings on this subject.  Each state needs to take a look at how voter registration is conducted, the procedures that are followed for Voter ID, and how the ballots are handled after the vote has been taken place.

Voting is one of the most important parts of our government, let’s work to keep the results of our elections trustworthy and respected, not just at home, but around the world.
