Everyone who chooses to play football knows the risks of injury, just like those who choose to be soldiers, firefighters, policemen, or coal miners.  Is it worth the chance of injury or even death? They can make it safer, but they can never make it completely safe. The decision to play should be left up to the individual to decide.
