While I am never one to want to reward lawbreakers for breaking the law, we have ignored this situation for so long that I don't see any way to realistically put this dragon back in it's box. I would be more open to the idea if we truthfully and effectively secured all our borders, effectively and quickly tracked Visas-with the resolve to immediately deport or jail anyone violating their visa (which includes those who break our laws while in this country.) We also need to address providing welfare, food stamps, etc. to those that are not citizens. There is much to be concerned over if we allow these illegal non citizens to get onto the welfare rolls that we already can't afford for citizens. We have to be resolute on the point that we want our citizens to be self sufficient and we want them to follow the law.
