Nebraska's governor may have changed his mind about the environmental impact of the XL Pipeline but the final decision will be up to President Obama. And that does not bode well for for the future of jobs and prosperity the Pipeline would bring to the state.
Environmentalists are organizing protests in front of Nebraska's Governor's Mansion and in front of the White House even as environment studies have shown the Pipeline would have minimal impact on the environment but major impact on the state's economy and the nation's energy security. Once again, the President puts politics above prosperity in the service of an extreme liberal agenda.
