President Obama has become emboldened by his re-election.  He will continue to espouse his false narrative of having made great achievements in his first term.  He will remind Americans that he made good on his promise to pass the Affordable Health Care Act, which has brought universal health care to everyone. He will say he brought this country, maybe even the world, back from the brink of economic collapse. He will say he has created millions of jobs with the stimulus money and green energy jobs.  He will continue to expand on his vision for the future of America, promising that every American has a right to a college education, health care, healthy food choices, and to be safe from violence.  I believe he will impress the need for strong gun control laws to protect our children. He will blame the Republicans for the issues that continue to arise over federal spending, not wanting to raise the debt limit, not wanting to raise taxes on the wealthy whom he believes are not paying their fair share.  There will be more talk about green energy as a way to become energy secure and not be dependent on foreign oil.

He will say that he killed Usama Bin Laden and that the Arab Spring is spreading democracy around the world.

As for his second term, I would expect more partisan politics; engaging his supporters with calls for shared sacrifice, social, economic and environmental justice; and promising a more egalitarian America. There will be revisions to the tax codes which will raise taxes on everyone across the middle class and in the upper tax brackets. Obama will push for cap and trade and a new gas tax on mileage.  He has expressed that we do not have a spending problem and will continue to increase the national debt.  Our national credit rating will suffer another downgrade.  There will be more executive orders issued to advance legislation bypassing Congress.

In addition, we will discover what President Obama meant when he said to Russian President, now Prime Minister, Medvedev, that after his last election he will have more flexibility.
