I think that Barack Obama is doing everything that he can possibly think of to paint the Republicans as obstructionists. He would like for them to be opposed to everything he does and stands for. When Senator Dick Durbin thinks that Chuck Hagel is the right person for the job and will make a good Secretary of Defense, then that tells me everything I need to know about the man.  I also believe that this will mean that we will have no Middle East foreign policy other than to just sit by and watch events unfold. This can spell disaster for both the US and Israel.

Even so, Chuck Hagel is a friend of the President and shares in his beliefs. The second term of this President will most probably be the complete ruination of this country.
