Our Top 5 Moments of 2012

When it comes to Republican women in politics, our numbers, strength, and voice grow each and everyday.  In 2012, we made great strides and positioned ourselves to accomplish even more in 2013.  Here are our top 5 moments from the year:


1.
Deb Fischer wins crowded U.S. Senate primary, and goes on to become U.S. Senator from Nebraska. 

2. Ann Wagner (R-MO) is elected Chairman of the US House Freshman Caucus. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) and Lynn Jenkins (R-KS) are elected Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Republican Conference Committee (#4 and #5 in US House leadership), respectively.

3. Rebecca Kleefisch (R-WI) is the first Lt. Governor to have a recall effort against her, and the first Lt. Governor to beat the challenge. Palladian View participated in the Get Out the Vote efforts for Kleefisch and Governor Scott Walker.

4. Palladian View launches Her New View with power-packed women's panel, Lashing Back at the Backlash, in Tampa before the RNC Convention. RNC National Convention features GOP women in prime time slots: Ann Romney, Governor Nikki Haley (R-SC), Condoleezza Rice (former US Secretary of State), Governor Susanna Martinez (R-NM).

5.Congresswoman Shelley Moore-Capito (R-WV) announced her run against U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller in 2014. Governors Susanna Martinez (R-NM), Nikki Haley (R-SC) and Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) are named to the short list of Republican presidential contenders for 2016.
