The GOP must be able to effectively communicate to single women that we are the party of smaller, more efficient government. We are not the party of no government, nor are we the party that believes everyone must go it alone, as we have been characterized by the likes of Bill Clinton. We believe compassion is possible in conservative ideology and that begins with education. Education choice is essential and we support. Using education, women are better able to make a successful path in life. As the party of less government intrusion into personal lives, we must also better communicate that social issues are the fabric of society without sounding judgmental and mean-spirited. Do we believe single women supporting families are all doing so willingly? Of course not. We must graciously voice support of safety net programs that benefit stronger families, even those headed by single parents.
GOP communication has to evolve and be far more effective to single women voters.
