Apparently Adam Lanza had enough ammo on hand to kill everyone in that school. One and only one thing stopped him. He stopped shooting little children and turned his gun on himself when he heard the police WITH GUNS coming after him. It is reasonable to assume that if that principal or any of the other adults who heroically tried to stop him had had a gun, 20 more children in Connecticut would be looking forward to Christmas with their families.
