Glenda, what is keeping us out of the White House is our lack of conservative principles. As a “Latin” American, I find the Republican Party more and more willing to compromise the conservative principles I was raised with, for the sake of votes. Latins are conservative by nature. It’s time the Republican Party stopped trying to be like the Democrats and embraced the conservative principles that Latins value!

There is only ONE “gun law” that would save lives in these mass shootings. That is a requirement that several adult members of the staff on duty in every school, from kindergarten to postgraduate, has the proper training for a concealed weapons permit and is packing heat. Instead of posting signs that say no firearms, there should be signs posted saying “notice various staff members are trained, armed and lawfully carrying concealed firearms.”

Has this been in place in Connecticut this past Friday, it could have saved up to 26 lives.

The second factor to be considered is the violent “music” lyrics, and violent video games students are exposed to. The damage done is exacerbated by putting huge numbers of children on anti-psychotic drugs. I am not a behaviorial psychologist, but common sense tells me the evil “music” violent video games, lack of discipline; and regimen of legal drugs being administered to our children are contributing to anti-social behavior that ranges from poor hygene and bad manners, up to and including mass-murder and suicide.

The national conversation needs to address the colossal failures in all these areas that have contributed directly to all these mass murder/suicide incidents.
